Tropic Marin® Original Balling Components provides the components of the balling method individually and thus also enables an independent dosage of calcium and carbonates adapted to the individual aquarium.

  • For individual dosing of calcium and carbonate hardness to compensate for possible imbalances in the aquarium.

  • All three components are necessary to apply the Balling method: calcium chloride-2-hydrate (Part A), sodium carbonate/hydrogen carbonate (Part B) and sodium chloride-free sea salt (Part C).

  • All components are available individually in 1 kg packs and as a set (3 x 1 kg).

  • Simply dissolve the salt in reverse osmosis water.

  • The solution can then be used immediately and can be kept for a longer period of time.

  • Suitable for both manual dosing and dosing pumps.

  • Can also be used as part of the Tropic Marin® Bio-Actif system.

  • Suitable for an aquarium stock with soft and stony corals.

  • Maximum dose: 150 ml of each solution to 100 l of aquarium water per day.

Description

Tropic Marin® Original Balling Components provides the components of the balling method individually and thus also enables an independent dosage of calcium and carbonates adapted to the individual aquarium. The balling method adds sodium chloride-free sea salt to the aquarium water in addition to calcium chloride-2-hydrate and sodium carbonate/hydrogen carbonate. This is the only way to balance the supply of the accompanying ions sodium and chloride and thus maintain the ionic balance in the water. This balanced calcium dosage creates the best conditions for good growth of corals and calcareous red algae.

Ingredients

The Tropic Marin® Original Balling Components contains:

Part A: Calcium chloride-2-hydrate (20,000 mg/l Ca)

Part B: Sodium carbonate/sodium bicarbonate (2,800 °dH/l)

Part C: Sodium chloride-free sea salt (~ 3,350 mg/l Mg; ~ 980 mg/l K)
